Causes of fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is a disease which affects muscles, tendons, and ligaments all over the body causing pain and fatigue. The exact cause is still unknown, however there are lot of trigger factors which may lead to this disease. The common trigger factors are as below.
These complaints may start after an infection either viral or bacterial.
Simple accident or injury can be a causative factor. Repititive injuries is another factor responsible for its development.
Past history or family history of diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, Ankylosing spondylitis or hypothyroidism must be ruled out as it is present in many cases.
